Welcome to the 2010 golf season! There are two options for establishing and maintaining a handicap (or more accurately, an index). You may use both systems – if you do, please be sure to post your scores in both places.

Handicapping with the Golf Life Management System

The EWGA provides a free online system, the "EWGA Golf Life Management System". This system is approved by the USGA and will give you an up-to-the-minute picture of your index. Here is the link for you to view: http://www.ewga.com/members/handicap/

For Those Members with an NCGA Membership:

With an NCGA membership, you can post your score at the course. Also, please be aware if you enter a 9-hole score at a course terminal, the 9-hole score will remain on that computer until another 9-hole score is entered at the same course. The two 9-hole scores will be combined and sent to the central GHIN processing before being updated to our files. If you do not think you will play two 9-hole rounds within the same month, it is best to enter the score on the internet (http://www.ncga.org).

Please email Lora Lee Del Rosario at handicaps@ewganeb.org  if you have any questions about this process. It is important that we have as many golfers establish an index as possible.  Your newly established index will help track your improvement as a golfer.  And if you plan to compete in the Chapter Championship, you must have an index.
