Lone Tree GC Clubhouse The Events Committee has been hard at work to get the 2008 golf season off to a great start.

Ginny Taylor, Events Chair, has secured the Lone Tree Golf Course in Antioch for our 2008 Kick-Off Breakfast and Golf Event for Saturday, March 8th.  Save this date now!  You don't want to miss this event.  Cost will be a reasonable $25 for breakfast or $90 for breakfast and golf.  More information will be provided as the date gets closer.
Holiday Demo Day
at Monarch Bay GC

golfing santa On Sunday, Dec. 9th between 10am and 3pm Monarch Bay Golf Course in San Leandro is having a Demo Day with Nike, Titleist, Cobra, Callaway and more!
Where does the bunker rake belong?

There is no specific rule for this decision.  However, Misc. Decision 2 recommends that bunker rakes be placed OUTSIDE of bunkers in areas where they are least likely to affect play.

Have you seen the pop-up rakes on the par-3, 17th hole at Pacific Grove GC in Monterey?  Step on a lever and the rake rises straight up out of the ground!
