Brentwood GC - End of the Year Awards Breakfast & Golf

Saturday, November
10th, 9am
 Don't miss our last golf
event of the year. This event will include your choice of
BREAKFAST, GOLF, and presentation of End-of-the-Year Awards
OR BREAKFAST and Awards only (for those of you who
can't stay for golf). There will be great prizes, a
raffle and a silent auction at this last event of the year.
Brentwood Golf Course is located at 100
Summerset Drive in Brentwood.
Cost for this event is only $58 and
includes breakfast at the course, golf, cart, awards, games, and
prizes OR $25 for breakfast and
awards only.
Deadline to
register has been extended to Wednesday, November
7th.

Las Positas GC - Results Saturday,
November 3rd
Members had a great time with
temperatures in the mid to high 70s.
We played Bingo-Bango-Bongo.
On each hole there was one point for the first person on the
green, one point for the person closest to the hole, and one point
for the first person in the hole (playing in order with the person
furthest away playing first). The person with the most points
at the end of the round won a gift
certificate. Ginny Taylor won
with most points among the 3-somes and Starla
Chimienti won with most points among the
4-somes.
There were plenty of water and other hazards on the course so
another prize was awarded to the person who lost the most balls - it
was close but Karen Turner was the winner
of a sleeve of balls!

with a chip-in! |

If you have used clubs sitting around
your garage, the "First Tee" youth golf program is looking for a
used set of right-handed irons for a young girl.

NCGA
Membership
for calendar year
2008
 Are you
interested in becoming an NCGA member for 2008 or do you
need to renew your NCGA membership?
New NCGA member dues for 2008 are $45.00 and renewals or
multi-members (NCGA with more than one club) are $40.00.
The renewal period runs now through December 15th, but
don't wait! Late payments are an extra $5.00 and will reduce
the amount of time the player is an NCGA member as they work on a
calendar year. (This is separate from EWGA dues and not
required unless you want NCGA benefits.)
The Northern California Golf Association benefits
include:
- the ability to compete in NCGA tournaments
- NCGA magazine
- discounts at Poppy Hills (Pebble Beach)
- discounts at Poppy Ridge (Livermore)
- GHIN handicapping

All EWGA members are eligible to

November 1st through November 30th.
New members recruited during November at the Classic-level can
join EWGA for only $100 - with a waiver of the $25
initiation fee. Pocket the savings for holiday gifts

What's the Incentive?
The top recruiter for the month of November (recruiting at
least 4 new members) will be awarded a Gift Certificate for a new
