New Member Orientation is scheduled for
Wednesday night, April 25th
at 6:30pm in El Cerrito.
New members already received a personal invitation to attend,
but we thought it would be good to let the entire
membership know too. It's a great opportunity to
learn more about EWGA and the benefits of membership. All
members are welcome.
There will be drinks and appetizers and you are also welcome to
bring a friend (or two) who might be interested in finding out more
about the EWGA Northeast Bay Chapter.

Blue Rock Springs - West
April 28th,

 Sign up now for
the next EWGA Golf Event at Blue Rock Springs
-West. We will be playing our Chapter Championship at
this course on June 30th so this will be a
good opportunity to start practicing. Or just come and
enjoy a fun round of golf.
Cost is $66 (including late fee) if space is
available. 2 spaces left at the time of this
emailing. A shared cart, prizes, fun, and more await
you.

Haggin Oaks Golf
Expo
This
weekend!
This is the 32nd Annual Haggin
Oaks Golf Expo - hosting over 12,000 golfers over the three day
event. It starts Friday, April 27th and runs
through Sunday, April 29th from 9-5pm each day.
Over 150 companies will be represented, including all the major
golf equipment manufacturers.
Haggin Oaks Golf Complex is located in Sacramento off of
interstate 80 Business. Entrance is FREE.

Fairfield

 Our next
18-hole chapter event will be at Paradise
Valley in Fairfield.
Cost is $72 and includes a shared cart, games, prizes, free
range balls, and lots of fun!

Chapter Championship
Scramble Teams!
Are you
interested?
 EWGA
members who are interested in joining a scramble team for the
2007 Chapter Championship on June 30th can
contact Ginny Taylor at events@ewganeb.org . She will be collecting
names.

Scramble teams are a great way to compete. You play with
members of your own chapter against other chapter teams. The
team is required to be made up of members with varying handicaps
and a handicap factor is
applied. |

to arrange car pools. Also, if you click on a person's name on
the list, you can email them.

at 5pm.

9-Hole Sundays at
Monarch Bay - Marina Course
Starting May
20th Sunday, May 20th is the first event
in a new series of 9-hole Sundays at Monarch Bay Golf
Club in San Leandro. The event is planned for the
third Sunday of each month.
A half-hour clinic by pro, John Bearden, will be followed by
9-holes on the Marina course.
Clinic starts at 12:30pm.
Tee times start at 1pm.
Sign-in before the clinic in the pro shop and meet right in
front of the pro shop.
Cost is $22 and includes clinic and 9-holes of golf. A
push card or electric cart is extra.
Deadline to register is Monday, May 14th. To
