Get Ready to Participate in the 2007 EWGA Championship

The EWGA Championship Finals, designed for all levels of play, are being held this year at The Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville, Tennessee September 7- 9th.

The EWGA Championship is the premier event of the Association and since last year it has undergone a small "face-lift". This change has reorganized the semi-final areas to accomodate our growing organization and to also even out the number of participants at each site.

Starting this year, the semi-final competitions will no longer be associated with the twelve EWGA Sections. These areas have been divided to create fifteen semi- final "Districts" which include an average of eight Chapters per district. This new structure will not only provide more opportunities for women to compete but also allow for future growth. Volunteers Needed for Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship
at Wente Vineyards, March 28 - April 1

This is the only PGA Nationwide Tour event in Northern California this year. Our chapter has been assigned a hole for the entire tournament! We are looking for at least 6 volunteers for each day, Wednesday through Sunday. Each volunteer is asked to volunteer for at least 4 shifts (or 2 days).

Those that do will receive:

  • a gift certificate for a free round of golf at the Course at Wente Vineyards
  • a pullover, shirt, hat or visor
  • a lapel pin
  • volunteer credentials & parking
  • meals during your shift
  • 3 admission tickets to the tournament


The cost of the package is $85.00 (Bring a small chair if you prefer to sit.) Deadline for submitting application is March 2, 2007.
